Enhanced tool production capabilities through the introduction of CNC-milling with CAM interface, replacement of the lathe.

Conversion to corporate organization, Zingg Kleinserien AG, control of the corporation transferred to Kurt Zingg.

The partnership Gebrüder B & J Zingg was founded by Josef and Baptist Zingg in Kaltbrunn.

Baptist and Josef Zingg recognized that small-batch production and prototyping usually meant long wait-times and high costs. Quality standards were not usually addressed, and the products needed to be modified by hand. They decided to specialize in serving this niche of the market.
